About the event
This course dismantles checklist-style musculoskeletal examinations and replaces them with a decision-based clinical framework. Emphasis is placed on movement behavior, tissue irritability, load response, and functional capacity, rather than reliance on low-value or poorly discriminative special tests.
Participants will learn to construct efficient, hypothesis-driven upper extremity exams that improve diagnostic confidence, reduce symptom provocation, and guide safe progression of care.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
1. Perform a focused musculoskeletal examination guided by clinical hypotheses derived from patient history.
2. Select examination procedures supported by current evidence for diagnostic and functional relevance.
