The Origin of HERO: Where Passion Met Purpose
In 2013 we launched our first official continuing education course. A few years later, one late night in Houston Texas, after a long day of teaching continuing education to healthcare professionals, a group of dedicated instructors—Dr. Askey, Dr. Crisp, Dr. Owens, and Dr. Moll—gathered to dream up the future of their courses. As ideas flew around the room, the concept of HERO was born: History, Examination, Rehab, and Outcomes—the essential elements at the heart of every class they would go on to create. This simple yet powerful acronym became the foundation of HERO Seminars, a name that reflects both their mission and the impact they aim to have on clinical practice.
